I tried joining some meetup groups but they weren’t good matches. I’ve tried discord servers but it’s always just a flood of people I don’t know. I do have a couple pen pals these past few months and that’s nice, but I’d like someone I can hang out with irl, yknow?

I’m kind of at a loss for what to do. I love my partner and her husband, I have several siblings and we get along well but they live in other states. I’m introverted by nature but sometimes I just get lonely.

I know part of the responsibility is on me, and I do try to reach out to people to hang out, but it’s exhausting always being the one to do the work. Busy adult schedules only exacerbate.

Truthfully I SHOULD try to just quit since I can’t do anything right now but the desire is SO STRONG
