Can we replace the “a needle in a haystack” expression with “a bay leaf in a stew”? I never lose any needles in haystacks, but I always lose bay leaves in stews.

The mute hashtag feature here on #bsky has so much potential. If I add #myusername-topic hashtags to my posts, people can mute specific topics I post about without muting them network-wide (just by clicking on the tag). No more worrying about spamming people with things that do not interest them.

I still remember the good old days of “don’t be evil”. Is there something in the drinking water these days? It seems like our tech overlords are trying to outdo each other in terms of evil.
