As PMs, we sometimes forget that saying “no” is part of the job — not because we want to block progress, but because we want to protect it.

But when you say “no” with context and care — “here’s why we can’t take this on right now” — it earns you trust, not friction.
When There's Too Much to Build and Not Enough Engineers
Ever looked at your roadmap and throught, "Even if we cloned the entire team, we'd still be behind"? Every PM hits that point. Too much to build, not enough engineers, and the clock is ticking!

I think Perseverance may have spotted interstellar comet 3I/Atlas last night from Mars!

After stacking 20 images from Mastcam-Z, I found a faint smudge of light in the constellation Corona Borealis close to the location where the comet was expected. 🔭

Roadmaps are living, sometimes messy, often changing, but they keep everyone aligned on the same goal and moving forward in the right direction.

If you are stuck and focused on perfect deliverables instead of meaningful outcomes, then this post is for you:
The Myth of the Perfect Roadmap
The perfect roadmap doesn’t exist. Stop trying to build one. In reality, roadmaps can be fluid. Imagine the industry suddenly going in a different direction: Why wouldn't you adapt?

Substack e социалка като много други, но ми помага да си подредя мислите.

Би било яко, ако набере скорост и мога да го ползвам да си намирам клиенти за консултиране.

Unpopular opinion: PMs don't succeed on their own. They succeed when engineers trust them.

During my 3 months of paternity, I could find time for learning on topics I found I had blind spots:
- UX
- Trust & Safety
- AI, prompting, vibe coding, and a few more related things

In the post below, I'm diving a bit deeper on how I did it. Enjoy!

Grow your PM skills using AI
It's very easy to talk about your strong sides as a professional, but have you tried to evaluate where you lack? If you did, then did you do anything to gain that missing knowledge or experience?

As promised, my Substack blog would not be about #product management only, but I'll write some content about #leadership and #career as well. So, let's talk about our careers.

In this post, I'm expanding on a 5-step process to achieve that based on my experience.
5 easy steps to get yourself promoted at work
When we have in our mind the idea of a career promotion, we often state "I want to become XXX", but really have no idea how to get there. Here is a short guide to do just that!

Apparently, if you show up shirtless at the hotel bar, the bartender doesn't recognize you. Not until he sees your surname and wristwatch and starts talking about watches😃❤️

In part one of the series we talked about my experience building products using #AI, how it went and dis I actually succeed in my project.

Now, let's talk about what the #product I have built is actually good for:

Building products using AI. Part 2
In the first part of this series, we talked about how AI is not (yet) perfect for pushing a software product from 0 to 1 w/o coding experience. Now, let's talk about what it is actually good at.

Being on a 3-month paternity leave turned out to be great! Apart from spending so much quality time with oir daughter, there was also something unexpected - I had no time at all to read local news. Now I'm mostly clueless as to what is going on in our city, country, and it's somewhat great.

I recently shared with you how I used #AI in an attempt to build a software #product, considering I have no coding skills. In this first of a series blog post I will be expanding on that experience and will show you how it went from the very start.

Building products using AI (vol.1)
Social media gurus claim that by using AI in it's state today, we can build a product from 0 to 1 with no coding experience. The reality of succeeding in in that is a bit nuanced, though.

We glorify “strategic PM work” and think that the life of a PM is all about it, but the reality of the job is a bit different. Read more in the post below:
The Myth of "Strategic PM work"
Everyone wants to make big and bold decisions, but the reality is that nearly 70% of the job is execution, alignment, cleaning up messes, and firefighting.

The time has come. This is my first Substack post. I will be sharing my product management journey, talk about AI and how it impacts our field, the politics bugging product managers daily and of course, leadership growth.

I'll always appreciate your feedback.

No product is perfect — and no Product Manager only does “product management.”
If you’ve read enough blogs or LinkedIn posts, you’d think PM is all frameworks, strategy decks, and aha moments.
