You can run services under a user after the user logged in with systemd. I use systemd user timer services for that.

Discord bots will always take the "first" option that is required to join a server. We made a role that locks them down if they choice it. Easy bot projection.

The trick is to load a different library and just hook the functions once everything is loaded. It's noisy but game modding can be very noisy.
