I'm also taking stats rn, so I could be wrong, but The lambda is your average rate of successes. You can take the P generated from your binomial distribution, plug in the P and K, and use that to find out how many "successes" would need to have been generated in his seed in order for that to happen.

You could also take that p value from the binomial to find your lambda for the poisson distribution and see just how absurd his seed would have been if it was real
