I don't necessarily want to lose my connection to stay up to date with cool people/things, but it's more and more seeming like all social media is just a cesspit of toxicity or ragebait. Even with the art and nice things sprinkled in-between is it really worth it?

Everything is exhausting and happening all at once and doesn't seem like it's slowing down any time soon.
At this point I hope the time I get off of work for 6 weeks after my surgery in a few months will be some sort of recovery period in more ways than just physical.

I can't help but notice the lingering paranoia I still have about my life given how much of what's currently happening echoes bits and pieces of the last few years but let's hope it's more in the trauma echos fading version than the "oops more advanced trauma" version

Re-listening to the entire three albums of what I can only call Sleep Token's "toxic relationship anthology" because it's such a beautiful and complex way of storytelling though the music and I can help but appreciate the years it took to complete with their new stuff coming out now.
