I love the Mission: Impossible franchise. And I’ve loved watching Tom Cruise’s unwavering dedication to it and his craft over the last 30 years. Tom Cruise is just as relentless as his character, Ethan Hunt…and that’s what makes these movies so great to watch.

I feel a little more energized in the job search today. Trying to put out meaningful applications instead of throwing things against a wall to see what sticks.
Sometimes a slump leads to refocusing on what you really want and moving with that intention.

I miss the period in my life when I knew that the President’s cabinet members were qualified to do their jobs and then I never gave them a second thought ever again.

The biggest thing I’ve learned on this job search is that your family and friends don’t want you to be happy. They want you to be safe.
They will encourage you to take roles “for now”. And they are not wrong. But your gut is likely right if you’re apprehensive about a job. At least mine was.

Truly the least of anyone’s worries, but I wish that the final season of Handmaid’s Tale came back last year. I have NO interest in watching when it returns this Spring. Our reality is too close.

So I watched Deadpool & Wolverine and idk, after witnessing the brilliance of Agatha All Along, the movie falls flat in comparison, in the jokes, story, etc. I get that a series and a film are very different, but i was much more impressed and entertained with Agatha than I was Deadpool. Anyone else?

There is something oddly comforting rewatching The Walking Dead in times like these. Like sure, fascism is around the corner but would honestly welcome zombies at this point.
