This suggests that DMS will play an increasingly important role as a sulfur source as further air quality measures reduce anthropogenic emissions of sulfur compounds. It will offset some of the global warming.

We used an ML algorithm to solve this. It increases our confidence in predicting future changes in DMS emissions and addresses the current uncertainty in climate-DMS feedback impacts in the IPCC AR6. We show that seawater DMS will decrease, but the sea-air emissions will increase.

Dimethyl sulfide is an important gas that is emitted from the oceans to the atmosphere. It is a major source of cloud condensation nuclei and helps cool the planet. But current models have a problem. They do not agree whether it will increase or decrease with climate change.

Thankfully, we had an excellent team that worked hard to gather data on several oceanic, atmospheric, and sediment biogeochemistry parameters and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you to the MOES and NCPOR for ensuring that India continues to do cutting-edge research in the Southern Ocean.

Doesn't this question the open access model? If APCs run journals, there is incentive to publish more. Quality suffers.
