Loved this album in the eighties. Their 2022 reincarnation « The Heart is Strange » by xPropaganda isn’t quite as good but is still worth a listen

Definitely. And someone has been giving me books they’ve finished and saying “give it me back when you’ve finished it”. So now I have to take special care of them, they’re taking up space, I can’t get rid of them, and I can’t give them back without saying “no I never got round to reading them”

Never understood why we would need an election. What do Australia etc do? The King is their head of state but doesn’t represent them. Couldn’t the prime minister do it, supported by deputies or civil servants? And if the signing in of laws is just symbolic then just don’t do it
