All this work with Yo Yo Ma and I never stopped and got a picture with him. Until now. This was after his We The People concert in Boston. All 6 Bach cello suites. Two and a half hours of music all from memory. He's truly a treasure of our lifetime.

We filmed our part for River of Fundament in 2012. After we were done they kept our outfits to be put in a collection. Every once in a while, I think about that crusty ensemble.....

A friend of mine sent me this map. Not sure the accuracy but I love it because they got Eastern Maine right. :)

As someone who grew up in Maine, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture is one of those places you hear about but none of us have ever been to.

Here I am opening up the orientation for this year's cohort of artists. A little Wabanaki history and a welcome song to kick off their experience.

When we finished in Acadia in 2021, one of the last things Yo Yo said to me is that we need to keep the conversation going and that this wasn't the end of it.

The man is true to his word. I had an idea and the stars literally aligned. I can't believe we're doing this again. Only bigger and better.

This divorce is playing out nice on social media. Two megalomaniacs team up...what could go wrong?? 🤷

It was Rev Billy Graham that made famous the Two Wolves fable. To sell it he said it was a Native story. People today will still repeat it to me as if they learned some great Native wisdom.

So.....I have no issue with memes that make effective and fun use of it...

I've been traveling a lot lately. This is from Mother's Day weekend. The assembly of NAAAD alums at the 2025 Pow wow. Awesome day. Killer drum lineup. Black Lodge, Bear Creek, and Southern Thunder! It was a pleasure being MC.

This is how Wabanaki Stories begins. Just me, a drum, and a story....

Love this pic.

Wow. 6 years ago today I was walking the streets of Paris, speaking to students, and screening Dawnland as a guest of the US Embassy. Amazing trip. Need to take my kids.

Hit up all the hotspots. I didn't go in, but I did visit the outside of the Louvre.

Speaking of River of Fundament, here's a rare production still. Composer Jonathan Bepler directing our (Mystic River Singers) scene with Usermare (Stephen Payne), Set (Herbert Perry), Horus (Brennan Hall), and Isis (Aimee Mullins) amongst others.
