work in progress for a riso project, inspired by my walk home from work in the dusky/glowy sunset minutes, drawing every brick because it does look slightly different compared to starting with the solid shape and drawing in the grid/brick lines! i love inefficiency!

the magnifying lamp is for counting my studio coordinator's whiskers (noodles has been demoted bc she keeps embezzling)

kewpie baby pattern, dog spiral, only being a 30 min drive away from riso access is an amazing privilege 💌

i put a lot of pressure on myself to make meaningful personal work, but often the pendulum swings to silly absurd drawings. it's nice to do both! & the personal work turns out silly and absurd anyways :)

i call this practice, drawing noodles the cat because i can't focus on anything else at the moment :)
