The fact that most posts I’ve made here are complaints about Twitter basically shows how Bsky hasn’t managed to stand out on its own other than being “Twitter without Elon”. I mean, anything could beat Twitter’s awful For You feed right now, which is a shame as that at least used to be decent.

Yeah I agree, they’ve always been rather slow at implementing features even when given an opportunity every time Twitter messed stuff up. I’m just sad at how much of a comeback “X” has made, even in the physical world that awful logo is everywhere now.

I went back to Twitter today for the first time in a year, instantly got shadowbanned, drowned in scam ads and a feed full of absurd crap (and your tweets lmao). I wonder if Bsky would’ve gotten more popular if they introduced features like this earlier but I doubt it as people still put up with X.

This place was doing great but it died and everyone flocked back to the other place, turning a blind eye to all the horrible stuff that site actively pushes, because it’s “what they’re used to”. I have no respect for anyone who happily uses that platform and feel sick whenever I see its awful logo.

IMO they should’ve just added proper ChatGPT integration or whatever for the people who like that stuff and then released Apple Intelligence in a few years once it’s actually capable of all the futuristic contextually aware stuff they demoed last year.

I feel like there’s a lot of internal management problems going on at Apple, I just hope they can recover from it and get a decent stable release of SOMETHING out. There’s some really nice changes in iOS 26 but the visual polish and stability just isn’t there.

They were behind in AI stuff and had to please investors, so all their efforts went into Apple Intelligence last year which ended up a major failure and now instead of fixing the OS bugs they ignored (or even improving their AI crap), they’re redesigning the entire OS?! Now is not the time lmao.

I’ve been on this since developer beta 1 and yeah, I don’t see this becoming amazingly stable by September. iOS 18 is only just starting to reach Apple’s usual level of polish now, so I expect it will be this time next year by the time iOS 26 is at the same level :/
