Ham is not necessary, but I like it more than gravy... which is not even an actual dish.

I watched a decent amount of someone playing through Captain Tsubasa some years ago, and this game actually seems kind of like a vast modernization of the same kinda thing, at least the actual soccer match parts. I might pick it up even though I'm not super into the high school anime setting.
