Book 39 Starter Villain by John Scalzi

Charlie inherits his uncle's business. It ends up being more than he expects.

@scalzi.com is so much fun. This is my second finish of his and I'm reading another now. Big fan

Is it just me, or are most of the books that are banned really warnings of how awful society is getting?

Book 38 The Apocalypse Seven by Gene Doucette

A decent amount of predictability with an interesting ending. I enjoyed it. I lol'ed a couple times. Most of the characters were likeable.
Even the pastor.

I'd probably die.

Book 37 Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao

This started off really good, but started to fall flat. So many, "another clue to the next clue" scenarios I got bored with. Beautiful imagery and scene setting, though. 3.0/5

The company I work for orders enough materials, and frequently enough, to get several "free" items throughout the year. At the end of the year, there's a holiday party and people are chosen in a random order to pick an item, as a gift.

I now own an air fryer

I think the first book was better. This one focused more on character development than the mystery, imho. Ana is still wonderful.
Still a good book, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

End of Eternity by Issac Asimov

Small group of men decide what is "right" for humanity. One man falls in love and tries to change everything.

Unlikable characters. It fell flat for me. Just a slog to get through.

This was so much fun. Ana is one of my favorite characters ever. I was able to see the end coming, but still enjoyed it. I'll continue this series.

Met Brad Swaile, Alessandro Juliani and Brian Drummond from Death Note yesterday. My son is a fan of the anime and wanted to meet them.
All very wonderful people.

I got to meet Michael Biehn for myself and he's an awesome person, too. The Abyss is one of my favorite movies and he's fantastic in it.
