I’m confused why the GC crowd never complain about so called “changing villages” at swimming pools and places like butlins and centre parcs. The cubicles don’t have floor to ceiling doors, people can literally climb over the top of partitions, no sex segregation yet they don’t say a word 🤷♀️

In a workplace setting this occurs because people start their transition and remain in the same job. Years ago this didn’t usually happen, people were often forced to divorce/relocate and find a new job. This approach is no longer expected but the downside is people know your past.

The real issue here appears to be that no third space was offered to either party. Whist a bigot space would be preferable to a trans space it seems the trust didn’t bother with either. Possibly because no space existed, if this carries on it’s going to get very expensive very quickly.

So why can’t a trans nurse take their NHS trust to court claiming that the presence of transphobes makes them uncomfortable?

It’s the most ridiculous judgement. Rose Henderson is judged to have done nothing wrong yet the complainants were victimised, intimidated and harassed, simply by her presence presumably.

This (the non affirming route) sounds very similar to gender clinics for adults 30 years ago, like nothing has changed.

Sadly many establishments don’t offer options and when you try to order a child’s portion they say you can’t have it. I have suffered this problem since gastric surgery, I can’t eat it, I don’t want to pay for it but they say take it or leave it. So I take it, in a doggy bag all the way home!

There are many trans members including my wife, the organisation has said they won’t be looking into people’s assigned sex until April when the subs are due. As yet there is no word on how they intend to police this, especially for trans women who have an amended birth certificate.

I am, I’m not sure the wife is, she genuinely believes they’re allies. I’ve never fancied the WI because I don’t 😏

That’s the strangest piece of writing I’ve read in a long time. So many Roses you begin to wonder if there’s more than one of her! Meanwhile so many nurses, female nurses, to help the reader forget that rose is also, a nurse.

Wife and I were discussing this last night, we believe a goal could also be to prevent future trans adults “passing” particularly trans women. My wife transitioned in her early 50s, the effects of decades of testosterone were hard to fix, they don’t want a whole new generation free of that

I made the mistake of responding to a transphobe on Twitter a couple of days ago (you’d think I’d have learned by now 🤦🏻♀️), they just wrote about 6 responses of absolute tripe then blocked me. I really must learn this time!

How can I help my local trans people? I am married to a trans person and I desperately want to say to any trans person I see out and about “don’t worry, you’re ok with me, I support you” but I daren’t as I feel that might be embarrassing as they would then know I had clocked them as trans
