The older I get, the harder it seems to create friendships. I not sure how much of this is just normal life vs the disassociation we now have within our society. It’s even worse seeing the news of others who do not have any emotional engagement and get to the point of giving up

I miss the old ultra-wealthy competitions that gave us thing like mass medical care, libraries, education (not that I’m saying it was completely altruistic) versus the BS we have today which is a giant circle jerk of a sword fight that does nothing for humanity. I don’t care if you lean right or lean left. Fundamentally I believe you have good intentions. There has to be discourse in the world to make the world better because everyone’s view matter. But if your beliefs preclude the opinions and freedoms of others then I presume your opinion is irrelevant
