Yes, we leave Thursday morning. I have a boatload to do today, then tomorrow I pack the car! Last batch of cooking I will do tonight. Making homemade veggie soup to feed the gangThursday night before dinner. Sunday we made meatballs for the Sunday gravy I’ll make this Sunday.

I remember my father doing exactly that! It would stress me out, too. But I remember how kind and gentle my hubby was when Daddy had an episode! He could calm my father down very quickly!

Well, after our trip in October I’m not traveling with him on long vacations anymore….I’ll only do overnight trips.

For the first 13 days of August, we had 8 days of rain! We have a fine crop of mushrooms, and our front yard smells musty. But I’m happy you got some rain!!
