(In all honesty, I do wonder if it's AT ALL possible for performance to be improved with UZDoom compared to GZ...not a deal breaker if not, but I am curious.)

I will add when you add UZDoom as a source port, the "Engine Family" entry will auto-detect it as Chocolate Doom. (cuz UZDoom is so new, I assume) so just change it to ZDoom.

My immediate (but EXTREMELY minor and unimportant) "problem" is that color codes don't seem to work for player names. Not important at all, but I liked it lol

It's the equivalent to Doom Slayer drinking a small cup of tea. The more badass the character, the more hilarious normal object use can be for them 😂
