This story has a happy ending, but this isn't the case for every black dog. I was about to adopt another dog before I saw Thing 2. Then I read a study about black dogs and how they get overlooked. Best choice ever.

I have a weird one too! Thing 1 has two beds, two couches, and my bed he could choose. Nope. Curls himself around the toilet on hot days.

So grateful that this boy alerts me when FedEx is about. Or UPS. Or Amazon. Or bicyclists. Or other dogs. Or when a leaf falls. Such a good alarm system! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣❤️

Pic isn't that great, but I didn't want to disturb them. Thing 2 found a rabbit nest in the yard (I think he may have eaten one 😭😭). Wanted to check in to see if they were still there and now their eyes are opening. Four little bunnies, just about to grow up!

Real feel today right now is 105°. Thing 2 is crying to go out for what I thought was a potty break. Nope. He's broken. 🤣🤣🤣

Timeline cleanse. Some baby robins hatched in my shrubbery! Four little perfect eggs are now four little hungry mouths!

Thing 1 had really bad allergies last year and scratched himself raw under his front legs and chewed his pads. Put him in a T-shirt and socks while the drugs kicked in. You'd have thought I was killing him. He likes to be naked! Thing 2 needs a sweater in really cold weather, no fuss. Go figure! 🤣

I love these puzzle toys, but sometimes Thing 2 gets frustrated and brings it to me for help. ☺️ Love is sticking your fingers into a spitty toy to dislodge an equally spitty treat. 🤢 Video edited because black dogs don't show up so easily.
