Several important things
1. Never saw headlights approaching from parking lot

2. The key card to access the building and your lab is the same one. If you get into the first, you will be able to get into the second.

3. If another student came alone. They wouldn't have bothered knocking the door.

Proceed to ignore rattling and thumping because fuck that shit.

Get things done. Pack up. Head to my car.

As I sit in my car. Realize 1 very important thing.

I get there at 2 am.

I do my shit.

Jamming to my own music.

Also panicking cause it's time sensitive and I am behind schedule.

Hear knocking.

Hear rattling.

I figure it's the next door students.

MY SHIT IS BEHIND I CANT PAY ATTENTION

Context needed:
Lab building is key card access only from 7pm to 7am.

All experiment rooms are key card access in this building.

My lab is on the side facing the parking lot and is divided into 3 smaller rooms.

My fave band came once (1) and then never again.

Give me a a fucking show about the women who made space suits Netflix.

Working class women, many of African-American origin, with years of experience making bras and female undergarments, just out there making the weird designs NASA blokes have come up with for space suits actually fucking work.

Later on I did ask my supervisor if they came to my door.

They said no. They were doing their own work in their office.

But I did find out that rattlings, yelling, screaming was very common at the 2 am to 3 am mark.

Not my proudest moment but I was so sleep deprived 😭😭😭 I had just closed my eyes for another 20 minute nap before I had to take another reading.

It rattled the door pretty hard but i was too tired to pay it any mind.

If you have the energy to rattle my door why don't you come take my readings?

Around 2am... 3am? I hear a knock on the door.

The knocking doesn't stop.

There's no one at the door.

My supervisor has the key so they didn't have to knock.

There's no one else in the building.

The knocking turned to rattling.

I... I gave it the finger.

4. My lab has a window set into the door.

I get shit set up.
I take readings every 30 minutes.
Nap 20 minutes in between readings.
Chat on discord + WhatsApp to stay awake.

Context:
1. my lab is upstairs.
2. There are 1 other person in the building: my supervisor
3. Everyone gets locked into the building after 11pm until 7 am. (Sorry osha)
