Today I put up some new blinds (which hurt) to try and stop my bedroom from getting so cold. This involved drilling and stuff. And afterwards I realised I have finally become the ultimate trans stereotype, doing DIY in pink overalls with a rainbow headband 😂

Went to see @assignedmale.bsky.social today for a talk. It was super intimate as only like 6 people could come but was so nice to have more of a chat. And then a few of us ended up at wetherspoons eating fish and chips because she wanted some British food 😂

My first tree in a long long time to mark my first Christmas in a place of my own for a long time. I'm not a particularly xmassy person but I decided to make an effort. Ignore the slightly squashed looking snow person, this was a lot of effort and I'll try and fix it

First trip out using the wheelchair blanket thing that an amazing follower got me from my wishlist. It's easy to put on and makes such a huge difference. When you're on a power chair you don't generate any body heat at all, and even when it's not winter it can be easy to get very cold very quickly.

Self care is a post shower hot chocolate in my pride love heart mug.
Also the fact that I can use the kitchen while wrapped in a towel is the only reason I'm able to do this now, so another win for living alone

These pictures are exactly three years apart. In the first one I'd been actively transitioning for a bit under a year I think. The other when I was out for dinner just prior to my move, but yeah. Exactly there years.

Was just looking at things and found this hidden behind the blinds in the living room on the windowsill. Yes it's cheesy and no I don't care I will be keeping it and putting it on the wall 😁

Did I specifically seek out a pink microwave? No. But when I found one that wasn't priced more just for being pink you can bet I bought it post haste.
Also I haven't had a digital microwave for years, the supported places always have awful twist dials that have no precision to them whatsoever

I had a washing machine delivered at stupid o'clock which was fun but what took me by surprise was the delivery driver grinning slightly embarrassedly and handing me a little plastic package
Because apparently they give you STUFFIES and I could not have been happier at that point
