I use it for habit tracking and some light planning so my ugly abomination handwriting is not a problem. imo logging habit in here feels nicer thandoing it digitally, since it is limited by visible physical space, rather than digital layout with endless scrolling.

I also bought a Hobonichi weeks notebook too see what the hype is about. I'm not an analog person, I mostly use digital tools, but I really enjoy writing in this thing (using my trusty Uniball One and Style Fit). Beautiful design, thoughtful layout and really light for a 200 page notebook.

I added the original sources for most images inside this board. This site is a new Pinterest/PureRef/Eagle alternative, but it is reallllly new so it can be hard to navigate. If you want to see the links you can follow these steps:

Thank you~ Japanese culture from this period is really rich so I'm glad that I can capture even a small part of it!

For this artwork, I tried to include many things from the Taishou era. Steam train, western sweets and artwork inspired by Yumeji Takehisa. The graphic design inspirations are not strictly limited to Taishou era, but I tried to not stray too far from the 20s and 30s.
