Sprite concept arts for The Stranger and various NPC's you meet in the two acts! We wanted to aim for a cartoony, yet darker look for the style of the characters. To achieve this, we used a lot of muted, natural colors, and black shadows to make it pop out from the environment.

Concept art for when we were designing The Stranger. We already had a mental image of the main character. Mysterious, Odd, and covered up. The mask especially was a core to his character design. We went through many iterations, ultimately landing on the final design.
