The people resisting are doing hard and brave things. If you're not one of the people taking action it's easier to convince yourself all hope is lost then to rekon with your own cowardice.

I guess I'm not a doomer so there is a chance we stop the decline of American democracy before we start seeing state court collapse. But I'd probably wait on law school until I saw that shake out. Because if it goes the other way...

What kind of lawyer you gonna be if there are no laws?

American courts were already pretty kangaroo (search and seizure jurisprudence anyone?) But the modern Supreme Court has put that into hyperdrive and we are already seeing those effects on the lower federal courts.
