Midsized litigation boutiques with strong reputations are make it clear they’re ready to
fight. Should be easy for Wilmer and other firms to find fierce litigators to defend them. Why would anyone cave?

Can’t fathom how the law firm attorneys who signed this - Lisa Blatt, Christopher Manning, and Tomas Castella - sleep at night. Let’s hope they don’t have kids of their own who might ask why mom/dad took money to protect a company that allowed this abuse of children in its care & custody.

Well-known Supreme Court litigator Lisa Blatt, a Williams & Connolly partner representing Southwest Key Programs, has pressed the Trump Justice Department to dismiss the matter. Blatt said it could hobble the administration’s goal of cracking down on illegal immigration, Bloomberg Law reports.
