Target: Renegade is even better again. I was playing it not too long ago for the first time in decades, and it's still an absolute classic.

It wasn't available in the other pictures above but I've got that too, and FFE (which i got on eBay about seven years ago).

A better (but not by much) photo of my PC, complete with awesome framed Magic Knight picture.

The oubliette is in a bit of a messy state at the moment as I'm trying to reorganise everything to make some space ... somehow ... but here be mine.

Or this. 🤪

This is the real "Board of Peace". 🤣

I got my hands on the Atari ST version of Civilisation a while ago. I didn't even realise it was released on the ST. I've had the sequel for years though. I loved that game and spent hours on it back in the day.

Post the first game you actually completed!

It was Atic Atac, I think. I can still complete the game easily to this day, using the wizard. I also completed Hungry Horace, if finishing all four mazes and returning to the start counts as completing. The game just repeated itself after that.

Another interesting Picard tidbit...

In approximately 70 episodes of TNG, he can be seen picking up and fidgeting with a crystal. I've seen the show hundreds of times but I did not even notice that until about eight years ago when a YouTube video brought it to my attention. Very strange.

Captain Picard drops by for an inspection of his new ship. He orders a cup of earl grey tea but wonders if the replicator gave him darjeeling by mistake.

Data dropped by with his cat Spot to see how things were progressing, and to read some poetry.

Looking at the absolute shit-ton* of Star Wars games in my Steam library that, apart from about 3 or 4 of them, remain unplayed to this day. That really needs to change. If only I could find the time...

*That is an actual commonly used unit of measurement by the Jedi Knights of ancient times.

Apologies for this, but I just had to...

Thanks again. 😀 I picked up some of that from your Substack review, but it's good to have some background knowledge. I will read the manual. I miss the days of big chunky manuals that the player was required to read before playing the game.

I'm don't know what Space Hulk was like; I remember the name but nothing else about the game. Captive was very similar to Dungeon Master, using practically the same controls and everything, but it was set in a futuristic scifi setting. I can't remember exactly what I was supposed to do however.

That's interesting. They must have changed the packaging since last year. Mine was all in plastic bags.

Voyager was an underrated show, with several of my favourite Trek episodes, e.g. Year of Hell, Blink of an Eye, Scientific Method.

I will never forgive them for Fair Haven/Spirit Folk though. F*cking Hell! They were torture to watch. The Munsters never did anything quite so awful... I assume.

The drive section is now complete. Tomorrow I will start on the saucer section.
