Where Trump is concerned, I believe he is motivated by one thing - acquisition of wealth. Screwing others is a side benefit. I wonder how he plans on acquiring more wealth from tariffs? By holding other countries hostage until they pay up?

I don't get Trump's obsession with tariffs on China. The USA buys tremendous amts of Chinese consumer goods. The Chinese don't buy a lot of US consumer goods. So who loses in the end? Not China.
