Flat land has nothing to do with it. Tornadoes can form even in mountain ranges. WI is just farther north then the usual Tornado Alley. WI has had many tornadoes over the years.

I switched in hopes of avoiding the political stuff. I'm here for facts, science, arts, weather, cool pics. If someone I follow posts about politics frequently, I'll just take them off my list. I only look at my "following" tab.
