Hello there. Yeah, this was bound to happen anyway. Opening an account here.

It doesn't mean I'll only talk about random stuff here. I'll also do the other stuff I've been doing on twitter, share stream updates and the such.
A bit late but happy new year everyone. Some IRL updates for the whole year of not streaming.

My work schedule hasn't stabilized yet for me to start streaming again and I still can't give a solid schedule for it.

So I've been thinking of leaning more on the YT channel for now because of it.

Is it strange that playing OG RE4 on PC feels clunky for me compared to playing it on the Wii? Even playing with a controller makes it feel sluggish.

This isn't wrong. Except the drop of efficiency at work. Depending where you work, it will slow down or it will still be hectic as F days before the Christmas break.

So I finally got my second hand GTX 1660 super delivered and hooked it up on my jank HP prodesk setup.

Just need to get some nvidia drivers and wait on the SATA power cable to start testing it.

It's definitely used as mining card if this limited edition Zaku card is being sold second hand online.

With the current news of ram prices on a massive rise, I wonder how long it last it will force AAA games companies to actually start innovating once again.

I mean, it already happened before when game devs squeezed every drop of performance so why can't it happen once again?

Good news and Bad News.

Good news is that the place I'm working at has decided to reduce our 12hr shifts to cut cost so there's a high possibility I can go back to streaming once our schedules stabilize a bit

It's kinda funny that it took me a year to start getting annoyed at manually printing stuff at my work that I decided to fire up the old programming brain cells to make it more efficient.

I'm starting to wonder the overall computer literacy of the upper management in the company I'm working for.

Looking at what's on the local online market, I have to wait for my next paycheck to get a decent workstation GPU.

I just hope there's still some stock by then.
November 21, 2025 at 12:20 PM
With the recent news of the expected rise of memory for next year, I guess I'm fine getting a refurb workstation GPU for my current setup for now.

As much as I want to build something decently new, I'm not going to bother butting my head on getting some DDR4 or DDR5 ram with this price changes.

This is why I'm still currently pondering if I should save up for a steam machine or build a workstation/NAS storage from used parts.

I started to ponder if I should start saving up for the steam machine. I already have a rough guess of the price based on how much the steam deck cost here in the PH.

Then I remembered that it took a long time for local retailers to actually start selling the steam deck.

And my bank account got capped in the knees.

Our old bunk bed frame broke, and I was forced to buy a new one and a new mattress because the old one can support single and double, but the new one can't.

So I'm forced to offer it to the gods, and my wallet is dry as F again.

I think I reached the point where my mental state can start to experiment and research many things again.

Well.... I still can't do a few of those things as a few needs some more money to be thrown at it but I think I'm somewhere I can start with simulations and such on PC for now.
November 3, 2025 at 2:25 PM
Hmm. I think I should do another attempt on the HP elitedesk.

Cloning a dual boot drive is a pain in the butt.

Sure, I should go full throttle on Linux now, but the job market tells me I still need it because most engineering software dropped linux support years ago.

Sigh.

I'm kinda interested to see what adventures Fatigue went in his time in the Philippines but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a challenge to do.

Don't get me wrong the series greatly covered a few things here and there but there's some holes in the regional history.

Someone is messing with wheel of luck in the past few days and it's starting to annoy me.

Maybe it's time to do some offerings to the RNGods once again.

Due to my current environment in my workplace, it seems like I have a higher chance to actually getting sick when October comes by.

The transition of the cold seasonal winds already destroys me but seems like each year it gets worse.

Annoying that job market is still F in my area.

Now that I think about it. Every Tron movie is kinda like a showcase of what Disney can do with their CGI for live action movies.

There's also Pirates of the Caribbean series amazing CGI but Tron series has that certain quirk where they had to CGI everything. The entire set to the flashy clothes.

Got home and I received news that my old dog just died. I don't know how to feel about this because he was came by outside while I was doing the laundry yesterday and then I get the news today that he got ran over by my father. (BTW my father didn't see him while he was backing up the car)

Kinda nice to browse at the previously owned books at the bookstore. Tend to find hidden gems over there.

No, seriously, who's with a right mind will get rid of their engineering books? Those are absolute gems that you can refer to in your job.

At this point, I think he just wants to burn the bridge and build a new one which has a plaque of name his on it. The real test is how long will that bridge will last with how hasty he is in doing this acts.

It's starting to get annoying when you are born in a good year for something, and your feeds get flooded every 5-10 years to celebrate it.

Yes, YT, I know I'm old. Stop blowing the dust of 1995 at my face.

The area around the place I work is pretty notorious for pick-pocketing and I have a strong belief that some poor bastard out there stole my broken flashlight in my commute.

Take it, I was planning to replace it anyway.
