We love to wander scenic roads. Hwy 29 in the far SE corner of Washington is so cool, winding down into a deep canyon then back out again. The Moki Dugway near Monument Valley makes crazy steep cutbacks down the side of a mesa. What else? Tell me about the coolest stretches of road you've driven.

Last year about this time, we wandered around that old abandoned water park off the freeway between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Crazy cool. Have you seen it? What other #abandonedplaces have you explored?

The Blue Banana coffee kiosk in Lostine, Oregon, USA, near Wallowa Lake (which, incidentally, looks like a blue banana on the map). Coolest coffee shop ever. Free library, and you can sip your beverage inside that VW's back seat.
