I forgot to say but when playing against David Mines I somehow soul read his last card in hand with The Rise of Sozin which felt insanely lucky.

I'm sure you remember this Sierko but when I just started playing Magic WotC used to send you sweet textless promo cards for just playing FNM. Those were the days!

We all know the top GIHWR cards are going to be Ocelot Pride, Guide of Souls and Phlage anyway.

For the 4-2 deck I wouldn't have splashed U, esp since you really want to cast Phlage out of the yard and every pip counts.
Replacing the U cards with with a Skoa and Gatekeeper would be my changes (better mana, still good topend and Gatekeeper has some nice GY synergy)

It's a really tough block. Playing around a removal spell means putting the 2/2 and 6/6 in front and adapting. Playing around the G trick requires adapting and blocking with everything. Both those lines don't guarantee a win next turn but you do have inevitability in your side. Not sure I see a punt
