If it wasn't an actual dissorder then why would it be in the DSM-5? It wouldn't be diagnosable if it wasn't a real observable thing? Trust me, I wish I didn't go through this shit on the daily. It's exhausting not knowing who I am at any given moment.

More like multiple personality dissorder was once what Dissociative Identity Disorder was called. But I get why you stated it like that. A lot of people unfortunately still call it by its old name.
