If a worker in any industry feels their working conditions are unsafe - due to heat or anything else - they should report the concern to the employer, who must investigate and address the situation. If that fails, the Ministry can be involved - call the Safety Contact Centre at 1-877-202-0008. 3/3

Good question! You are right; the requirements under the Act are usually expressed more generally (i.e. taking "every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker"). What that means in a specific context won't usually be precisely defined in the legislation. 1/3
