I'm not really a fan of the martini, especially as it is practiced today resulting in a glass of ice cold Gin. But it turns out the earliest recipes are Manhattan variations calling for genever and sweet?!? vermouth. Gave it a shot, still not my favorite, but better and interesting. #cocktails
