A total jabroni and a bad follow.

Saints. Pelicans. Gators.

NeverTrump.
This old photo came up in my memories and I can’t help but compare it to this recent one to clearly show the progression of how difficult running has become

Willie Green was a good man and good coach whose time here had run its course.

I’ll remember him fondly.

What I won’t remember fondly is the executives of this franchise that neglected this at the end of last year, making this a lost season.

This progress will come to a screeching halt next week when I have surgery #6.

But I’ll ride the high for now…

Slow and steady…

is progress.

I woke up on November 3, 2020 incredibly hopeful. That quickly turned to horror that evening as the east coast results, particularly Florida, rolled in...

And then, on November 7, 2020, hope again.

Little did I know that we’d all be cast back into the pit of despair 4 years later.

This place is rocking.

I love my team.

Slow and… not so steady…

Is a remarkable accomplishment for me.

Tonight I pulled what ended up being about 6 inches of stitching out of my leg.

If you never see me post again, it’s probably because I’m a goner. It’s been great knowing all of you.

I am SO SAD that this Facebook troll is not getting any engagement. Maybe folks don’t want to negatively engage with the guy that has had so misfortune this last year (and may have brain damage for all they know), but it’s making me sad that people aren’t tripping over themselves to call me a moron😢

As part of my surgery recovery, I ended up getting a Peloton bike. I’m very happy with it, as it allows me to get some great exercise when I still can’t do much else.

This guy is my favorite instructor. He pushes and encourages. So when I saw he had a book, I bought it. And tonight I dive in.

Did the kids’ school 1 mile race today. Not a fast time, but I am sure I finished first in the “missing a leg bone” division.

Pictured is me blowing the wife a kiss as I stumbled towards the finish line.

Another recovery milestone - first one mile run since having part of my lower right leg removed.

Pulled this metal surgical clip out of my leg earlier.

My surgery was over three months ago.

A perk of being the chef to the Ravenous Hordes™️ is that you get to sit and enjoy your own with some peace and quiet.

Sitting in the ER waiting room, where Fox News is on the TV, and then Salena Zito comes on…

I have apparently died, gone to Hell, and am now forced to pay for some very grave sins…

Cold brew since it is summer. I normally brew my own, but for this I simply went with a store bought that I like (though it’s not as robust a flavor as I prefer).

This edition of an unsolicited Meta cartoon of me is total fucking trash.

Lots of reasons to be down today, but I was able to put on shoes for the first time since 6/11 and hobble out to the back porch for some sunlight and Bluetooth speaker time (another first in weeks).

This will do…
