One that made me want to scream but I just laughed out loud was multiple people were mad that Alanna was in the Two Rivers. You don’t need to remember every detail to be a fan of the books but before you freak out online do some research to see if you’re wrong or misremembering, lol

Book fan here, I love the show & co-sign most of what @knassre.bsky.social has said. I’ve tried to listen to complaints but it seems it has become an obsession of some to hate on everything. Even things directly from the books and for some reason won’t allow themselves to acknowledge anything good

I see it more that she is all on or all off with him. She’s “I’m with you forever” or she disappears. She doesn’t say I want both. Honestly none of them are very good at communicating lol. I think their biggest issue is they will always love each other but don’t/never really fit well together.

He was saying that their relationship will never be enough for her and is letting her go to do what she needs to do for to fulfill herself. Their paths do not align and I’m sure they will both be fine

Season 3 has been incredible! Every single episode is better than the last one. It’s worth every minute to get the this season.

It’s my favorite books series and I’m loving season 3. I’m sad a fellow reader isn’t enjoying it but everyone likes different things and handles changes or tweaks differently.

Season 3 is by far better. I enjoyed episode 1 although the pacing was off to get everyone where they needed to be. The following episodes have been paced so much better. I’m absolutely loving Season 3. Sorry to hear you aren’t enjoying it.

It looked good for me too. I do like the lights off or low when I’m watching an immersive series or movies so that could be a part of it. I like the theater experience at home. Instead of dark maybe just turn off any lights that are reflecting on the tv. Sorry it didn’t look good for you.

Yes, waiting is the hardest part but I’m also dreading the finale because the wait between seasons is worse! Especially waiting for them to renew for more!! So glad to hear you are loving season 3. There are so many more beautiful, heartbreaking and heart stopping stories from this series to come!

The actors now have so much more to work with, they are all so incredible! Characters that I wasn’t even the biggest fan of in the books, I’m absolutely loving in the show.

No that’s understandable. I’ve read the books so my brain filled in the gaps and I was already familiar with and understood the characters. Having no context or history with them, I can imagine I would have felt the same.
