Trump demonstrates complete ignorance about how international trade and the economy works. There are virtually no actual economists that think that a “tariffs on everything and every country“ strategy will do anything but cause massive inflation and crash the economy.

God knows she tried but the top Democrat in the House would not snap out of his business-as-usual posture. He seemed to think the courts will save us. But what if the Trump administration ignores the courts? Jeffries’ timidness and denial does not bode well for our future as a democracy.
