Burns was bought out by Baldwin so there are Baldwin guitars in the US (as well as some branded Ampeg)
I have a Split Sound Jazz and a matching Jazz Bass both with "Wild Dog" as a pickup selection. (Puts the Tri-Sonics out of phase for an AM radio style sound.)

I managed to catch them a couple of times in my youth. Once on a cruise around Boston harbor and of course the all ages show for the Bradford Ballroom and yeah, the stories are all true.

This is very very inspired by Jim Burns Hayman Guitars of the early 1970s. The shape, the big metal control plate, the circular logo in the headstock.
That said, my 1973 Hayman 3030 is one of my favorites.
