The thing I am holding onto is that people are not accepting this as normal. People are protesting. People are documenting. This is not sustainable. This will end and we will rebuild.

Having a gun doesn’t. It’s what you do with it. I’m not a gun owner (friends & family are). If you’re smart, nobody knows you have it.

Agents in ICE may be able to justify their actions because they think they’re serving their country. That becomes harder to believe when the country is telling you “you should be ashamed of yourself”, referring to YOUR actions as a moral crisis etc.

These words & signs matter more than you know. It signals to people in government - including ICE - that the People are watching and that they WILL be held accountable. It’s just a matter of when.

I should clarify that an impeachment CAN do some things besides remove or fail to remove someone from office: get sworn testimony, subpoena records etc - but if it fails, it can also be used as evidence of a “witch hunt” etc.

You need a majority in the House to impeach…and even then, you need 2/3 of the Senate to convict.
Impeachment #3 would be another stain for Trump to bear, but it won’t remove him so long as the GOP Senators are loyal to him.

No. It’s enough. You can obviously think for yourself and conclude that she was murdered. You don’t need NPR to validate that.
