Ardent Supporter of Scottish Independence. Scotland must be free of Westminster and monarchy. Scotland will thrive as an independent nation in the EU. Supporter of Scottish Republicanism. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Today Sophie Ridge on Sky News reports snow falling in Aviemore, Hexham and Woking. She explains that Aviemore is in the Cairngorms in the Scottish Highlands.
No geographic location given for Hexham - we must know where it is 👿
Scottish areas require a geographic location but English ones don’t?

How is Andy Burnham designating the North-South divide Peter?
Asking on behalf of Scotland.

It is and was Scotland’s oil.

Scotland’s water and renewable energy are England’s next targets. England with no natural resources has to pilfer them from other countries to survive. When Scotland becomes independent on 1st January 2030 England’s economy will collapse. What has England got to offer apart from monarchy and racism!

Correction - Scotland and Norway won nature’s lottery.

England then stole Scotland‘s wealth and squandered it.

Sheila is on a crusade promoting the both votes SNP nonsense.
Her stance is that 65/67 SNP MSP’s (extremely unlikely) will have more clout than 80+ plus pro independence MSP’s!
She is entitled to her opinion but it is fundamentally flawed.
October 13, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Yes it does.
It’s not about support for one Party!
A parliament with 60/66% pro-independence seats will have more clout than 50% seats for one party.
October 13, 2025 at 12:16 PM
Summed it up perfectly 👍.
October 13, 2025 at 12:11 PM
I agree Barbara.
What would they rather have 60/64 seats for SNP or potentially > 75+ pro-independence?
The chances of 65 plus is very slim.
The party has brainwashed them into the both votes SNP philosophy. It is nonsensical.
October 13, 2025 at 12:07 PM
Nonsense. Both votes SNP in 2011 gave away seats to unionists. A majority pro-independence parliament will have substantial clout. Both votes SNP is idiotic!
October 13, 2025 at 8:41 AM
Both votes to SNP will only award seats to clowns like Murdo Fraser. Chance of an SNP majority is extremely slim. The objective must be to maximise the pro-independence seats. Vote SNP 1 and Greens 2. We could achieve 75-80+ seats, shut out unionists and promote pro-independence policies.
October 13, 2025 at 8:36 AM
Sorry they have no chance of winning a seat therefore you would be wasting your second vote.
October 5, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Pete has been in Westminster since 2001.
You would think that after 24 years he would realise he has contributed nothing as regards achieving Scottish Independence.
He now has the audacity to criticise the attempts of others.
Time to stand aside Pete.

Ain’t no such thing as “British Law” Andrew.
The UK has 3 distinctly separate legal systems.
These are The Law of England & Wales, Scot’s Law and the law of Northern Ireland.
September 21, 2025 at 2:34 PM
Not for the first time Mr Wishart I disagree with you.
You first became an MP in 2001 and what have you achieved with regard to securing Scotlands independence? Answer - zilch.
You now have the audacity to criticise others who are at least making some effort.
Shameful!
September 20, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Scotland is ready for independence John.
We are waiting on you doing something to achieve that. Your current plan will get us nowhere.
September 18, 2025 at 11:52 AM
Is amadan thu!
September 17, 2025 at 4:36 PM
So a faux independence supporter James. Maximising the pro-independence seats must be the objective.
September 17, 2025 at 9:05 AM
Aye and Santa Claus is real and Elvis is still alive and lives in Saltcoats😸.
September 16, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Westminster will ignore the total votes. Its seats that will have the desired affect.
September 16, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Sorry that’s complete nonsense.
Both votes SNP failed in 2021 and it will fail again in 2026. Maximise the pro-independence vote. SNP on the constituency vote and Greens on the list. Both votes SNP will only award seats to unionist!
September 16, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Fundamentally disagree.
That strategy never worked in 2021.
Vote SNP on constituency and Greens on list to maximise pro-independence seats. Both votes SNP will only reward unionists.
