Yes and they will adapt to it. There were always people who cheated in education, now it's just easier. And since it's widely spread, at least there will be counsciousness about it and after all when this people go to the real world they will crash with a wall and learn from their mistakes.

The post is obviously a generalization and a joke.
Professionals are using AI daily and it helps them a lot. The education system has not changed and people will keep to seek knowledge and skill. If AI becomes a problem, humanity will solve it or twist it so it turns into something good

It's a bit sad how you feel the need to justify yourself even as an indie game dev who is just learning.
If something is gonna hold you back while making your game, avoid it.
Make your ideas real, with or without AI, and don't pay attention to people trying to force their ethics into your head.

Most programming languages share very similar "best practices" and yes, his code was full of red flags.
btw GameMaker is made in C++
