Maybe the problem is that I don't trust something just because someone or something says its true and I double check it.

But that's also lead to me using AI as a test and then double checking it, only to confirm my doubts, that it cannot effectively replace humans for problem solving.

As someone who works adjacent to management, when you leave comments it helps us to reinforce that "Hey, its not just us saying you suck shit."

You're not wrong, though. If you leave a 1, I'm reviewing that interaction, comment or no.

My question to these people is always just "What's illegal about them?"

"Oh, you mean they wanted to be here so bad they broke the law to cross the border because our immigration courts take years to get to people, sometimes generations? Their only crime is they want to be american.. Hm.."

Technically, there are creatures that can do this without being single celled.

40% of earthworms can reproduce pathenogenically. Some trees just clone themselves. Some starfish, cut in half, will make 2 starfish.

Like, no one would even know Demon Slayer if it wasn't an advertisement first.

They barely sold volumes before the show aired compared to after.

Demon Slayer is a great example of anime as advertisement

You can literally see sales double after it airs and then explode after that.

That's an old take that has been around since Naruto & Bleach at least.

While I agree, the issue with the take is that the anime is often an advertisement for the manga.

So male ducks grow larger depending on the number of competitors they have every year.

...And they shrink a lot after the breeding season.

Do with that info what you will.

I often say "I can speak German but I don't understand it."
I can understand and sometimes repeat back a lot of foreign language lyrics, but I never know what the lyrics are saying.

I blame/thank choir for this.
