Another behind the scenes look at the sound design of Cocoon! This seal laugh is one of my favorites, made with a simple synth setup plus a few effects. I perform the vocalizations on the keyboard, using different intervals to control the throaty vibrations, and randomness to vary the expressions.

Hello bluesky! I used to have some videos from various game dev processes, that sadly got lost when I deleted twitter some year ago. But here is a vid of a cool weird sound I made for COCOON, mostly using Ableton's Collision synthesizer 👽 Maybe I will post more here in time!
