We didn’t figure it out really. These conversations tend to be a bit pointless, and you start to sound like a grumpy grandpa reminiscing about a better past. Anyway, it was a nice chance to remember some of the music I loved some years ago—especially this gem of a track:

'Nil' was the track I liked the most, and Autechre completely changed my mind about music. Orian and I were close that 1st year of Uni only; he quit engineering because, of course, music was his world. I guess he'll never know how influential that brief friendship was for me. Never saw him again.
