Update from Cambridge4Trees on the their lawsuit halting construction of the bike path upgrade in Linear Park
We'll know next week if we've lost the trees that make Linear Park a park, a respite from our ever denser city. Here's what happened last week: Monday Aug 25: there was an 80 minute court hearing for a Preliminary Injunction to pause the Linear Park project Wed Aug 27: City was allowed a supplement filing because it didn't know where they planned to dig in the asbestos contaminated WR Grace site Friday Aug 29: We filed a response Friday Sept 12: Judge's decision expected

Our City Council voted to open this gate into Linear Park but some violated the Open Meeting Law.
