There was absolutely no need to include Quest 3 and home gym equipment in a question about Bay Area Transit, wth Gemini. Turning off all personalization, it's always used when not needed and skipped when it might be useful.

Ads on Threads Android app not rendering the media whole day today. I'm noticing this since morning, I hope there's refunds going the way of advertisers soon.

Apparently AGI is close by and everyone is about to lose their jobs but cutting edge AI recommends walking to a car wash instead of taking your car 😂

What's the point of having Meta AI in Instagram if it can't even answer a simple question about a post?

This is the reason why multiple cofounders left xAI last week, the ketamine fueled product roadmap has arrived here at xAI.

Elon Musk thinks coding dies this year. Not evolves. Dies. By December, AI won’t need programming languages. It will generate machine code directly. • No syntax. • No compilation. • No human-readable abstraction layer. Just execution.

What happens when the algorithm is actually good at taking right content to the right audience. Seeing all that learned knowledge from Instagram transfer over to Threads is beautiful.

This post is an inspiring series of events ❤️

Only question: Is Ellison going to gift wins to Meta by MAGA'fying Tiktok like Musk has been doing with X. I'll bet Zuck and Co can't wait.

OpenAI waited too long to introduce ads imo.

You launch ads when you have a monopoly, not when competitors are at parity and ad-free. Ad tech is a flywheel, it needs tons of click data to stop being terrible and start being relevant.

Now, thanks to a long stint of Sam Altman's performative […]

Blocking advertisers on X has become so effective that now they’ve resorted to laundering ads from a generic "@ Products" account to force-feed you content paid for by brands you might have already blocked.

The desperation is reeking.

Of course, Apple fans are probably overreacting on this aspect.

The bigger takeaway for me is that this limits Apple's ability to create truly differentiated AI experiences. Whatever they do, Google can and likely will do better on the Pixel. And Google would have first access to best models […]

Is it just me or does the TikTok feed seems to have become terrible lately? I know the Oracle deal doesn’t close for another 10 days, but my FYP is suddenly 90% old videos and repeats. And remain 10% is people voice over same 10 viral audio.

Is ByteDance nerfing the U.S. model before new owners […]

Watching the "good riddance" reaction to Alan Dye leaving Apple shows the toxicity of Apple fan base. Blaming a design lead for software rot is absurd. UI and Silicon are the only things that Apple is still the best at. The real disasters are Siri, Apple Intelligence, and stability.

I upgraded […]

I wish Google would do a proper desktop OS at some point.

There's such a huge gap between the smooth and stylish but closed MacOS and absolute wild West of customizations and freedom but also windows that is Windows.

We need a 3rd consumer desktop OS that's not Linux.

Quite funny until you realize that Reels launched in 2020, around the same time as Snap's Spotlight, now makes $50 billion revenue every year while entire Snap makes ~$6 billion.

@mancity's left, O'Reilly + Doku + Foden, is very strong with ball handling in pressure situations. They draw the press intentionally and then beat it most often creating opportunities through the center and right. Whoever wants to beat us needs to find a solution for this.

It crazy how little money big tech spends on lobbying relative to the size of their revenue and impact regulations have on their business.
