Well if AI is supposed to replace artists that's the logical next step. It needs to come up with cool stuff while making the client think it was their idea.

I'd be tempted to come up with some fake new tech trend and try to give them fomo.
"AI? That's transition tech. Don't tell anyone but I know a guy who works for J.P. and they're silently pivoting investments to EHP (E. Coli Hive Processing). It's going to be the true revolution."

Great article. I think it's a tradeoff. In 1000xRESIST agency is very low but the author is telling me a very personal and very intentional story.
In Dwarf Fortress the creator had little control over the story the game tells me, but his gift to me is a world of possibilities.
Both great games.

I think the Ghost Song dev is one of the few that understands that.

"Hey listen, Samus. Did you notice the cracks on that wall"
...
"Samus I think that wall can be destroyed with a missile"

It's not new. Before it was "that must be cgi" for traditional animation, or "what app did you use" for digital illustration. Or being surprised that old traditional animation can sometimes be more fluid than modern productions.
It's the idea that art is 90% tech 10% human skill.

AI to me feels more like the .com bubble, where the tech involved ("on the internet") mattered more than offering an efficient and effective solution to a real problem.
