One can only hope. If he does get back into the House of Commons the way he did it will haunt him forever. I know more than a few mps who will jump at the chance to remind him.

I’m not so sure it’s smart. Yes it’s the diplomatic and altruistic stance to take, but I think as long as Poilievre is around, he will focus on being combative and disruptive. Assuming that everyone is as magnanimous as high minded as he is could be Carney’s Achilles heel.

And he will take the Battle River Crowfoot riding for granted as well. He is already confirming that they are a means to an end, nothing more. He’s a user, a taker, an opportunistic, a leech.
