If you’re wondering, I chosen Mai2 as my “starter voicebank”.

When purchasing (or in my case upgrading to) SV2, you get to choose one full voicebank product among these 3 options: Mai2, Liam and Mo Xu. Mai was one of favorites voices, so naturally I gotta get her.

Not sure if I would use mixing effects inside SV2 as I’m already used to do all audio mixing/editing inside my main DAW.

This might been great for those that don’t have a fully fledged DAW or wanna do something quick on go.

Hopefully V7 is gonna fix that.

I would love VX features transferred to main Vocaloid editor! Like the power parameter, I like that one ‘cause it’s similar to “tension” in other VSynths.

However, I think that there’s still lot of room to improve V6 AI quality.

Compared to competitors like SV or VoiSona, the voice output quality and/or features are very lacking. Heck even V3/V4 have more parameters available than V6 voices.

Yamaha has done so many quality of life upgrades throughout V6 era. Like, bringing back cross synthesis for V3/4 voices or introducing direct pitchbend drawing.

Compared to V5 era, this one has been going much better direction.
