I felt like a complete dingbat at Home Depot in my shorts buying parts to get my dryer working. I seriously have no pants. The guy in checkout line with me was also in shorts. Apparently his dryer is not broken, and he just likes wearing shorts in freezing temperatures. I don't get it.

I managed to boycott the news channels today, which made the day most pleasant. It was so nice to have time with family. We supported a couple minority owned businesses and helped one unhoused person stay warm in honor of the MLK holiday.

Seems like every 20 years, I get the itch for a pair of babies. I hope in 20 years that some grandkids arrive or I might become America's oldest mama. In the meantime, we couldn't be happier. I'm so proud of my amazing family.
